The Bottem.co.uk project is a playful web application created as a lighthearted joke inspired by a colleague's infamous typo—spelling “bottom” as “bottem” across multiple database tables. The website functions as an interactive 8-ball, allowing users to type in questions and receive whimsical, humorous, or absurd answers in return. While the project is designed with fun in mind, it also demonstrates the use of dynamic front-end interaction, randomised response generation, and responsive design to create an engaging user experience.
